Myself and fellow games enthusiast Young Baek at Boise State University are editing a case book called Cases on Digital Game-Based Learning: Methods, Models and Strategies.
We are looking for cases from all aspects of digital game-based learning, in all educational and informal settings, and the deadline for initial abstracts is mid September. Please get in touch if you’re interested or want to talk through any ideas.
Here is the call for papers.
Hi, we have recently been a partner on a Unity 3d serious game project called Enercities. It was the first serious game Facebook and on standalone version http://www.enercities.eu – we learnt a lot about trying to get serious games taken up in education in the 6 partners countries and went on to measure the attitude and behaviour change potential. Intelligent Energy Europe funded the project and now the partnership will embark on a new project training teachers to use games in Vocational Education
I want to get involved in this project. It is a very interesting idea and I think the final product will be very useful for both students and teachers. I have done some computer games for preschool children and I have seen it very easy to use children and the results were very good

Hi John and Elena
It would be great if both of you would like to contribute. Would you be able to send me a short (1-3 pages) summary of the proposed chapter, sometime in the next few weeks?
Cheers, Nicola
Could you email me a little more information, or direct me to somewhere where I can find it?
Hi Todd
What information are you looking for? If you email me directly I’ll be happy to help you with any questions.
Best, Nicola
Nicola,
Yes I am interested in sharing what we have done with the online course but unsure exactly what you need and if it is relevant.
Regards
Greg
Hi Greg – sorry for taking so long to respond, just got back from leave.
I’ve been in email contact with Roxana who, I think, is putting in a chapter proposal, but do email or call direct if you have any questions.
